Whether you’re renovating, buying, or just curious, here’s exactly how we safely identify and remove asbestos from your home.

1.

Get in touch & tell us what you’ve found

Share a photo and a brief description (where it is, what it looks like, and the age of the home). We’ll advise the best next step – often a lab test.

2.

Collect a sample (two easy options)

Option A: We collect it. Contact us and our team will come to site and take a controlled sample.

Option B: You drop one to us. If you choose to collect it yourself, do it carefully:

  • Dampen the area first (don’t sand, drill, or saw).
  • Wear a disposable P2 respirator and gloves.
  • Break a small piece, place it in a sealed zip-lock bag, and label the location.
  • Drop it to our office: 29 Omata Road, Marfell, New Plymouth.

3.

Lab testing

We send your sample to an accredited laboratory and typically receive results within 48 hours. We’ll contact you immediately with a clear explanation of what the results mean.

4.

Clear results & a free removal quote

If asbestos is detected, we provide a free, no-obligation quote based on:

  • The type of asbestos-containing material
  • Its size and location
  • Site access and containment needs

You’ll get timelines and what to expect on the day.

5.

Site setup & safety plan

Before any removal, we put safety first:

  • Set up a controlled work area and warning signage
  • Use appropriate containment and dust control
  • Protect surrounding areas so the rest of your home stays clean and livable

6.

Professional removal & peace of mind

Our licensed team removes the asbestos safely and efficiently so you can keep your project moving. Waste is sealed and transported for compliant disposal, and the area is thoroughly cleaned.

We complete a final inspection and tidy-up so you can continue with your renovation or repair, confident the area is now safe.
